Fire Alarms

We provide fire alarm installs and maintenance options to ensure you are compliant with regulatory and legislative requirements. We provide a 24 hour call out service for existing customers and aim to complete all fire alarm call outs within 8 hours.

Our engineers have completed the relevant FIA (Fire Industry Association) training course and are trained to British Standard BS 5266 Parts 1 (2005), 7 (1999) and 8 (2004) ICEL Competent Engineer Course. We can also offer installation of EMS WIRELESS FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS.

All services are performed in accordance with relevant British Standard codes of practice; by fully trained and competent Technicians. Regular servicing and maintenance of your fire alarm system is a legal requirement. It will also give you assurance that your fire alarm equipment will work when it is needed most.

As the responsible person, you are legally obliged to ensure that fire alarms are installed at your premises to British Standard BS 5839.

Types of Fire Alarm Systems

All Fire Alarm Systems essentially operate on the same principle. If a detector detects smoke or heat or someone operates a break glass unit (manual break point), then alarm sounders operate to warn others in the building that there may be a fire and to evacuate. It may also incorporate remote signaling equipment which would alert the fire brigade via a central station.
